What do you all have? I currently get 1.5% cashback on all purchases. Is the Amazon credit card good? 5% back on Amazon purchases seems good

Amex has some good cards you can look into. If you buy Amazon a lot then I guess their card is good.

Are you willing to pay an annual fee? I have Chase Sapphire Reserve and it has already more than paid for its fee in benefits this year so far. Their rewards tend to rotate but it's usually focused on travel and dining getting 3x and then they throw random ones out there. Like for instance right now you get 10x on Lyft ride purchases. Plus they give statement credits for things like Door Dash ($120 per year). There's always a $300 travel credit which turns the $550 fee into $250.

Amazon's is an absolute must if you shop there. Use it for all purchases. And make sure to get CASH BACK, don't actually use the credit when prompted at the checkout screen on Amazon, as you won't get points for that amount.

Same for Target. 5% is excellent and more the less the best you can get.

For general purpose cards, your mileage will vary. Chase offers cards with some 5% categories, but they rotate and it's not on everything.

Citi has a Doublecash card, which is effectively 2% on everything.
