And make sure to get CASH BACK, don't actually use the credit when prompted at the checkout screen on Amazon, as you won't get points for that amount. Same for Target. 5% is excellent and more the less the best you can get. For general purpose cards, your mileage will vary. Chase offers cards with some 5% categories, but they rotate and it's not on everything.
