Just keep hanging in there, try to focus on other thoughts as much as you can whether through music or another outlet. Things will pick up for you, I know it.

I'm doing good, got both vaccine doses in me, business is thriving and keeps me very busy, and I just love this time year of between the weather and all the E3 stuff and game announcements going on.

They've gotten better since I hit the rock bottom. Hopefully the upswing continues! Not having to sell my soul to a job is pretty nice, at least. I do get bored and lonely a lot though.

I got my second vaccine dose like six weeks ago, so I've been good for a while, and as of today in my county the mask mandates are abolished. HUGE relief for me since I'm exempt from masks. I now feel like I can go do stuff and don't have to keep in my "bubble."

Great to see you again, too! Yeah, it's been over a year - I just went poof all of a sudden and didn't look back until I got a hankering yesterday. I worked at Target most of that time. Played games some but a lot of time just stared blankly into space since I was so exhausted from running in circles around a monolithic store. I... didn't really have time or energy for anything else, and I'm seeing that now. I need to take care of myself before anything else, even jobs.

Part of why I was active before was that it gave me something to do while I was working at my State job. I was waiting on stuff to scan so I needed something to occupy that downtime that wouldn't be problematic for my productivity. Once I left that job and started working at Target (I was full-time starting last July/August or so, but was mostly full-time before that except for January/February), I didn't have the same opportunities or energy. So I just decided to do other stuff with what little time I had.

I am doing okay, I think. I've had some real downs though. And I don't see them stopping, which is discouraging me. I need a girlfriend, that's what I need.

My only guess for that "tag" is that one of my original characters is named September Kapp. I must've posted about her sometime. I don't remember the details.

We all have ups and downs. For me, it's mostly downs, but I try not to let it drag me into the abyss of death TOO deeply.

Yeah I lost my State job in September 2019. I got the Target job as a temporary thing and started in November. Since the Fulfillment team was practically non-existent at that time, they kept all us seasonals who showed up and worked on board after Christmas. Then the world ended the following March and I was happy just HAVING a job, even if I was getting 100,000+ steps a week because of said job. Big-box Fulfillment during a pandemic is not fun, and it crushed my soul. Even though I was one of the best on the team.

I don't miss it.
