I'm just listing the ones given in the link above. I personally think the video has a generous definition of "breakdown," but hey, nothing wrong with giving more options! You can be as generous as you want, too!

I think von Karma is the answer here unless you count lightning Gant, but I consider that more of a damage animation, even if it's only used a couple times.

Sahwit's is pretty good because of its simplicity. It's just enough to be satisfying without being over the top.

It's Von Karma. Sometimes I'd be happy to throw a vote to a clear second place, but not here. It's so cathartic to watch him grab that wounded shoulder after three court days of total domination from him.

When I voted I voted more in terms of the actual animation. Beating MvK is great, the evidence you use to incriminate him is great, but the actual animation of it isn't as good as Gant's, and Sahwit is probably 2nd... then MvK is 3rd.

It's absolutely von Karma. It's so cathartic.

I actually like Yogi's second. I think it's one of the better transformation because all he does is stand up straight and have a more fierce look to his eyes, but it completely changes his demeanor. Not a dramatic transformation at all.

Another reason I went for Von Karma's breakdown is the way it continues the story and divulges more information, even when you've already proven his guilt. Particularly, it starts with Von Karma screaming, and Edgeworth realizes its the same scream from his nightmare, and then Von Karma starts grasping his old wound as the full on breakdown commences. There's a few other breakdowns in the series that tie into the plot that way (Furio Tigre is probably the best example, but you don't realize it yet), but this one is definitely the most cathartic in that sense for sure.

Von Karma headbanging is amazing as well. I think that sold his breakdown the most.

Gant is the one that sticks with me more than Von Karma of the big ones. (and Sahwit is just kinda classic)

Yeah, I love the head-banging (and the accompanying rant). It was the first time in the series where I really thought "wow, I broke this guy".

The one thing that's always stuck out about breaking von Karma is that his anger isn't toward Phoenix at all for beating him twice in one day. It's directed toward Gregory and Miles. It just shows he's been hanging onto this bitter hatred of the Edgeworths for 15 years and his revenge plot is all he's been consumed with for that entire time.

It's consistent, considering he didn't even bat an eye when Phoenix won Miles Edgeworth's trial for the murder of Robert Hammond, ending his perfect run as a prosecutor. I'm guessing getting Miles for Gregory's murder would still somehow count as a win for him in Japanifornia's warped legal system, but it's still surprising he let any defense attorney get that much on him.
