I know a few people here have xbones... ever have controllers just not turn on even with fresh batteries?

Both my controllers are doing it... blink a few times and then just turn off. No idea why... worked fine yesterday then I went to change batteries and neither one works now.

Okay, I need serious help. My coworker wants to set me up with her daughter because she says that we have so much in common. The problem is that Ive seen pictures of her and Im not attracted to her. Shes not ugly, but I wouldnt ask her out, or if I was asked out, I would feel obligated to give a few dates but not be into it.

Im really worried that my coworker is too into this idea of getting us together, but I dont want to come off as mean or rude by saying that I dont want to go out with her, especially since its her daughter. Maybe if it was some random friend I would be able to, but her daughter...

Is my only hope to pray that the daughter is totally against this idea too?

This doesn't help but damn that's an awkward situation. I mean I guess you can say you're not looking for a relationship, or go out once and just day the chemistry wasn't there... but the second one isn't a thing I'd want to say to a co worker.

Tell your coworker to stop pimping her daughter out lol. Or just come up with an excuse like you're not really looking for anyone right now, or that you don't like going on dates set up by other people and would rather connect and ask someone out on your own terms.

Same. I actually let it lapse for a month or so and then they were like "oh hey 3 months ultimate for a dollar" and it was like oh fine heres my credit card again. Lol

I'm glad I got it again. I was playing re2make so much I didn't care but its an amazing service.

I'll say this over and over, Spiritfarer is an amazing, special game. Don't be off put by it's cartoon graphics. It has a tremendous story and is really emotional, and some of the moments in the game are unreal. It might be my favorite game over the last 2+ years overall.

I was like that for so long but when I finally got a (now last gen) console after covid shutdowns started I've only bought a handful of physical games.

I think bl3, re2make, and rdr2 are the only games I've finished since I got it though. It doesn't help my lack of attention span it it's great.

I never woilda bought the long dark and I absolutely love that game.

It has a pretty deep crafting system, there's fishing, cooking, gardening, mining, and a lot of mini games like catching lightning in a bottle and flying jellyfish. It's pretty relaxing with no real combat to it, sort of like Terraria but no real enemies. You are basically the grim reaper and help people work out their problems before bringing them to the afterlife. A lot of the characters are very well written.

Not even ashamed to admit, it got me misty eyed more than once. It makes you care a lot about the characters and when it's time to let go, it's a ride. That's part of what I liked about it so much, I don't think I ever got so connected with a game before.

I was talking to someone on Apex Legends(just some random) he was saying he lives in a state that allows concealed carry without a license, and in my opinion all that does is encourage everyone to carry a gun and not be afraid to use it. If there is a significant chance that everyone could be concealing a gun you're only going to be safe if you carry one too.

Don't get me wrong I love guns. My friend has a 9mm and we went up in the mountains shot some beer bottles we drank. I remember my one turn and acting like a cop and saying "PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!" and fired off a 12 round clip before that bottle could ever process or begin to to submit. I hit most of it too.

Yeah i'm a liberal guy, i'm also a gun owner. I said it before and i'll repeat myself, I don't feel the need to carry an arsenal on me when I go to fucking Walmart. If someone breaks into my house in the middle of the night, I feel like I should have protection. If a bear wanders onto my property when i'm out in the garden and wants to scrap, i'm more comfortable having a shotgun handy. If i'm going to get some timber at the Home Depot, I don't feel the need to have a gun on me for the 0.0000001% chance some psycho is gonna shoot the place up.
