If I have to switch I wouldn't mind Detroit. I play them exclusively in NHL Hitz 2002 on the gamecube which I still play with a some friends pretty regularly.

Shredded wheat is a big round biscuit of wheat, shreddies are essentially the same but in tiny squares and designed to get soggy as fast as the laws of physics allow. I hate shreddies.

Nah, he should switch to Edmonton because I gave up on hockey after their sweep. At least this way they don't lose a fan.

I feel for Edmonton fans, seriously. I know the Wings are bad right now, but as a fan I had it real good for 20 years, always in the playoffs, competitive, 4 championships in that time. They had a hell of a good team for a while, this is the first time since the late 80s they have been this bad. It seems like Edmonton has all the talent but can't do anything with it. I wonder if Holland is gonna blow it up this offseason and take it a new direction.

Wife's brother bought a brand new one, broke down after 17k miles, again around 22k and died entirely beyond repair at 28k. Kia has a pretty bad reputation in general. Unless you are anti-Japanese, you really can't go wrong with a Honda or Toyota.

I'm washing all my blankets and bed sheets right now. I THOUGHT I had a possible bed bug problem but I got a gnat problem. Every night I go to bed I wake up with little welts. While i'm just sitting in my chair I got two more. There's these little bastard gnats that are as bad as mosquitos but so small you never see them coming. Time to bust out the apple cider vinegar.... I miss winter already...

Also my cat is following me like crazy because she thinks we're moving out. She comes into my room and see's something's a fuck. She even looked into my beer case and realized "oh... he's not going anywhere tonight" and just plopped down on the floor for a nap.

So I did something real stupid and took a 2 day a week job at the liquor store in town. I put dude's kid through college i'm sure, but I ran into him at the grocery store and he's been trying to recruit me for years. He's stuck working like 90 hours a week because no one here wants to work, everyone is getting unemployment and businesses are dying. He practically begged me, offered me $14 an hour under the table, and said he would bring me some Indian food that his wife cooks once a week, I couldn't turn that down. Guy has always been a real kind person, but fuck me if i'm not gonna be selling liquor with a new liver that I fucked up from drinking lol. He said he don't care if I bring my laptop to work with me and do my main job while i'm there so it's kind of win-win.

My self control is pretty good, honestly I flat out can't drink ever again, and I just had a brush in with potential death so it's not gonna bother me being around it all day. If anything, I can look at some of the mutants here that are 10 years younger than me that look 50 years old and feel better that i'm done with it.

It's an extra $250 a week which is gonna be nice too, I spent more than I should have this season. I also bought two peach trees and a plum tree and got those fuckers in the ground. Those metal troughs weren't cheap either, but it's working out in the long run keeping the insects away. I lost so much stuff last season to bugs eating my stuff, and the snapping turtles if they get in my garden again won't be able to climb up those metal troughs and eat my tomatoes again.

I really want to put a few trap cameras outside anyway to see all the wildlife that goes through my yard at night. Last summer, I was grilling out and went to the store and came back to a bobcat on my porch on his hind legs trying to find some leftover meat. Luckily those things are timid and he ran away instead of clawing my face off.

I was straight up with him, and he knows how much I did drink, and he knew about my surgery as a result. I told him flat out, if there is any temptation there at all, i'm gonna need to quit and get myself out of there. The way he was talking to me, it was desperation, he has a new baby at home and I don't want the guy to go out of business, and I want him to be able to have time with his family and not live at his store 7 days a week. I just wanted to help out, it's the only reason why I took it.

One of the the things with me is I kinda almost need an excuse to put my 2 weeks in at work. I've already accomplished everything I can there. I'm sarcastically respected there but they know I help keep things running.

I almost feel like leaving that place would make it easier to leave my fiancee. It's a really tough decision but I only ever thought about leaving with her staying in in my life.

Yea I just realized after that loss and the series, I have no interest in Oilers hockey anymore. Like if the management and players don't care enough to win why should I. The franchise is basically like the western conference Leafs, they don't have to win to make money so why fucking try?

If you can line up another job, i'd say go for it. I love my wife, but I would never want to work with her. I've also been "that guy" at a job before where I was heavily leaned on and it creates a lot of stress.

I'm never worried about an IT job. I just had a completely different picture of it two years ago vs today in terms of how I approach where I go with it, with a new family now.

I'm still engaged and there's no date set so I have this rough time of deciding if I really want her to be with me for it. We've been together long enough that I just don't see my life without her now.... I always hear people say about their wives "She's the best and worst thing that ever happened to me"

I might be in the minority here, and don't take this as bragging, but i've been with my wife for nearly 18 years at this point and I can count on one hand how many times we have fought or been in an argument. We just click on basically all levels. If there is a potential problem, we sit down, talk, and hash that shit out before it become an issue on our relationship. We are consistently happy though, and not once has it crossed my mind that I regret any part of it, or think my life might be better without her in it. Send me back in time 18 years ago and I still pick this life with her. To me, that's how it should be.

Her dad is a preacher and is on his 4th wife. He dives head first into any woman that gives him the time of day, full on commits, and regrets it over and over. He does right now with his current wife, which is my mother in law. She means well, but good lord she can be so completely insufferable. We're only here one time in life, we gotta decide what we do with our time while we are here and make the right decisions.

Raw? Yeah naw. If I put tomatoes on a burger for instance, I usually grill them alongside the burger. Same with onions, I don't mind grilled onions on a burger but not raw.

When I eat salads I usually prefer walnuts and/or pecans and cucumbers on it, I can't deal with tomatoes.
