My thumb is throbbing and the nail is already getting discolored so I have that to look forward to in addition to the vaccine side effects.

How do you tell if you're supposed to poke a hole into the nail to relieve pressure?
It's been around 6 hours since it happened and it's still throbbing slightly. That normal? Side effects haven't shown up yet so the pain in my thumb is taking up most of my attention right now. Coming up on nearly 17 hours post shot.
Starting to get chills and feeling a bit weak. Took 2 Tylenol to hopefully head off the upcoming feverish state.
