Apex is the only battle royal game I've ever enjoyed and played for any significant length of time but having to play with randoms all the time ruined it for me and I quit playing a couple of seasons ago. The number of times I had to deal with people dying almost immediately on dropping and then quitting the game (on top of all the times it would short stack teams) just to get one decent game in became unbearable.

Rampart is even better as the sniper. Amped Sentinel round 1 behind amped cover = BIG damage. The problem is braindead teammates that will run out of your sightlines and bitch that you didnt help. Its especially bad on Artillery where they will run over the bunker every time and then you have no shot on the enemy that inevitably downs them, even when youre on the highest point of the map.

1) Take jumpmaster. I normally hate being jumpmaster but have forced myself to take it more often so my teammates cant force us to drop Fragment on Worlds Edge with 10 other teams.

2) Play ranked. Your teammates are incentivized to not leave in ranked. If they do and their banner hasnt timed out, you get loss forgiveness, like we did when my dipshit Lifeline teammate left after cussing us out, when she intentionally solo dropped into a team of 3 instead of dropping with us to loot first.

been playing since season one and have about 10k kills on Caustic. Even with the last nerf, he his still so much fun. The bombs can be used to cause damage, as cover, for blocking doors. Love it.

Nah, she is 100% balanced. Ignore the idiots making meme posts about her on Reddit because they have no clue on how game balance works.

• Jetpack makes her a big target if used incorrectly or in open space
• Missiles dont even land most of the time (theyre best used to flush people out of cover) and cant be used indoors
• Ult can be cancelled by enemy damage, and also make her super easy to hit as she goes straight up
• Her passive scan is nice and all but it points out people you could already see with your eyes, JUST while skydiving. It does refrain from scanning Mirage decoys, though
• Recon survey beacon scan. The whole class can do this, and lets be honest, your teammates always ignore these, even when you ping them. I dont deny its powerful to know where the next ring will land though and I always try to take advantage of these

Of course the geniuses of /r/apexlegends feel the need to compare a single ability (for example, passives) instead of the kit as a whole. If you want busted, just look at release Horizon, who had just a 5 second downtime between gravity lifts.

Her movement alone just feels so strong. Especially in city type settings. If you dont just hold VTOL, but pepper if, you can get a lot of use out of it.

I mainly just use it to scale buildings quickly. Getting where you otherwise couldnt, or much much faster. Lots of opportunities for aerial flanks.

I like her passive, but it wasnt a selling point for me. Though it is nice that people are marked so well.

Her missiles can be a bit hard to land, but you can actually aim them which helps. I got a double kill with it, when an enemy squad was looting death boxes.

Her ult is incredibly strong. Extremely useful if the enemy is advancing on you, or if you get sandwiched. Not sure about the damage cancelling you, but you may be right.

This is actually incorrect. Everytime you activate it, it uses about a quarter of her fuel. Try it out, hold her jets and go straight up vs pepper the fuel straight up, you'll get significantly more height by using the fuel in one go.

ill have to mess with it. I wonder if its the same if you plan on constantly changing directions, vs one straight line.

Peppering it to change directions might make you slightly more mobile when doing so, I know that when I am trying to move horizontally with her jets I feel like peppering it does help.

don't forget to change your field of view in the options. Taking off vibrations helps too imo and changing crouch and melee is an absolute must.

you see a lot more of what is happening around you. Yeah it also makes everything smaller, so you will probably start using 2x ,3x, 4x scopes a lot more

It's a fun game, but a lot of luck involved.

Generally favors playing aggressively. Landing soon, winning early encounters to gear up as quickly as possible. But opening up encounters means even if you win, there are likely several teams closing on your position and it's easy to get flanked by multiple teams.

A "safer" way to win is to land very peripherally, slowly gear up, stay hidden and follow the circle until there is one other team left. But generally speaking that other team will be better geared than you. But it's also not a very satisfying win.

More often than not, the better players will place higher. There is luck of course but skill plays a bigger role

Yeah. I'm really hoping that her tactical would be sword block, and that her passive is higher damage sword melee. I'm a Ronin main in Titanfall 2 so she'll be perfect for me.

i have every setting set to the lowest setting now (except FoV IIRC) and barely noticed it from when I used to play on high aside from the extra FPS
