It's a co-production between Crunchyroll and Adult Swim, and it's actually going to premiere subbed on Crunchyroll and dubbed on Toonami before it ever airs in Japan, which is quite a big deal. Plus, it's a hype original anime with a female protagonist kicking ass, and everyone here knows I love that kind of show. I'm just waiting for an airdate so I can finally watch it. It's not terrible, but the fact that I enjoyed the "I can't believe it's not hentai" show more is obviously not a good sign. I just found Scarlet Nexus boring, with dull characters, a mediocre story, and average-at-best action scenes. I even went beyond my usual three episode rule and watched the fourth episode today (being more lenient because I have so little else I'm watching) and it still didn't hook me, so I dropped it. But once body parts are shown on-screen getting detached from the body or mutilated in unnatural ways, then that's where it makes me nauseous and I can't watch it.
