Or, fuck, even half a year. Or just a few months.

Im exhausted. Im exhausted from working so much. I have like no drive. I want to try and find a better job but its honestly fucking bleak. Theres so little out there thats worth leaving my current job for.

I feel like to really get myself on a better track, I just need a good chunk of time where I dont have to worry about work or anything, to like reset myself.

Oh well, I know the world doesnt work that way so Ill just have to suck it up. Sucks though.

Do you get PTO at work? Save that shit up and take a month off, youd be amazed at the difference just a month can make.

You could run in front of a parked bus, claim you got hit and take time off to heal, and get a bonus payday from your city.

If your finances are in order, you could hopefully plan to do just that. I'm not as thrilled with my job as I once was, so I've been making a point of saving more so that I can bail if and when I need to

I actually get a pretty decent amount: three weeks, about a weeks worth of sick days, and like four personal days.

Problem is, I cant take more than a week off in one go. And even that week isnt enough because I still just feel so exhausted. Its not enough to really feel like it did anything.

Ehh I've done this and it only leads to a psychological cycle of constantly saving up for the "big vacay" without actually using them but that's just me though. I'd suggest just sparingly take Fridays off and holidays observances for the 3-4 weekend combo while still accumulating PTO for an actual vacation.

A whole week off alone is just as fulfilling imo, but then again idk what TC does for a living.

This is only an issue because of how corrupt and twisted American capitalism is. In europe you'd have paid time off, and enough pay you'd be able to save up to take unpaid leave if necessary. Plus annual vacations on top of that. Basically? Yeah, this system sucks, and it's horrible that most of us will never get even a bare minimum of basic consideration from the top because our society will never have enough people ready to topple the corrupt in order to make clear demands for thriving wages.
