The problem is I have pigeons shitting all over my balcony.

My sister got something similar because birds kept eating the cherries on her trees. It seemed to work pretty well. But was not 100% effective. Hugely noticeable difference though.

I bought a $3 plastic owl from a dollar store last month to stop pigeons from roosting on my balcony. It worked.

I had a problem with pigeons in my barn and a Crosman Phantom did the trick.

Bird spikes will keep them away, if there's a roof or overhang that they land on.  Some people swear by these holographic owls.
