I like B!Micaiah's face more. I knew Micaiah would come out this year, and I was hoping L!Micaiah would be a staff unit to add some variety into the mix. Time will tell how busted she is, and Fury 4 feels like an underwhelming A-skill, but she certainly has no trouble taking down the most oppressive unit currently, just needs to engage in some combat beforehand!

Colorless extremely stacked as expected. Green and red also have a strong lineup

I'm not really a fan of Fury on her either. As tempting as colorless is, I think it will be one circle and done since I got Ashera last time.

Took 2158 Orbs which is pretty much average so I'm happy with that. I also got a Fallen Edelgard +9 out of it which was my second target on the banner. I'll likely spark to finish her off when that comes around in January.

One of the first things I did after training my +9 Fallen Edelgard was... get her blown up by an unmerged Brave Eirika. So it appears I am slightly late to the Fallen Edelgard party. >_>

Did you change her special? B!Eirika shouldn't survive Bonfire even at +10

It was in Aether Raid. Normally Bonfire only barely kills Eirika. So with a bit of support, Eirika survived the Bonfire with like 3 HP then KOd with Blacker Luna.

Can't wait for Blackest Luna! Ignores 90% defenses + true damage no matter what. A.k.a full on Yu-Gi-Oh piercing damage.

So does that mean that going on a defense tile would make you take more damage, or is that mechanic more DR%?

I actually have no idea how exactly the defense tiles reduce damage. So it might increase the damage dealt by the special.

That can actually trigger another quirk in Moonlight Bangle. It is possible for a unit to have negative defense. This happens when a unit with very low defense also has defense reducing in combat debuffs that push the stat below 0. Most of the time it is counted as 0 defense. As in a 50 Atk hit into a unit with -10 Defense still only does 50 damage. One exception is Moonlight Bangle. Using Luna, Moonlight Bangle will take 40% of that -10 Defense and subtract 4 damage. So a normal hit does 50 and if Luna activates, the attack now does 46.

So these refines looks pretty nice.

I dewed up Eliwood, I may dew Brave Alm just to have a good option for Echoes limited battles later on(Easily my weakest group).

Male Kana.... eh? Not really sure if I want to commit. I'd probably go Distant Counter/Distant Pressure, Dragon Wall/Ire, and whatever C skill.

But by that time, who knows what my plans will be. Not exactly planning to pull for dragon fodder.

Solid batch of refines, but Kana could have been better. It looked good at first glance, but I thought about it some more and with no Guard or accelerated cooldown or guaranteed FU, he's not going to age well

It's rare I do a full summon on a banner and bounce, and this one turned out great! No Leif from three colorless circles, so it looked like it was all going to be duds, then I got +Spd Igrene and 4* Lewyn. That brings Igrene to +2, and +Spd is exactly what she needed to win more Spd checks. Also have an Igrene fodder that I have been saving for a long time. She is such good fodder. Not sure if I want to upgrade Lewyn. It's BS freakin Julia is faster than he is

Free pulled Harmonic Leif, so that's another option when their RB weeks come up.

So I gave Brave Eliwood Windsweep. I'm already enjoying this greatly, I just need to find a +Spd to merge into for even more potency.

I think I have four Harmonics so far. Altina, Caeda, Catria, and Mia. Come to think of it Leif/Seliph is the only male pair to date.

Still only have one Harmonic. Thought about going for S!Caeda or Lif/Dorothea on DSH, but enough orbs to go around. I don't absolutely need Lif on my AR team and since we don't get orbs from tiering in RB, it's not worth it to get a unit just for the mode

Yeah, it's not worth it purely for that mode. Catria was the only one I tried to get, although I probably would have gone for Altina if I didn't free pull her.

I am so glad I committed to Altina. She turned out even better than I imagined and she's usually getting fielded in AR. Had to retire BIke and BEdel with all the red cancer that have popped up in the last year :(

W!Altina is pretty great. Mostly got her because she was sparkable(And I was dumping all my orbs on that banner anyway... just not for her).

S!Myrrh(I swear I"ll never spell her name properly without looking it up...) was pulled purely because they're adorable.

I do agree that going all in just for Harmonic Battles doesn't seem worth, especially once merges will start being required to go to T21. They're nice to have around for Limited Battles though, especially since they can potentially be used twice.

Ideally she'd be +Atk, but she kills well enough from what I can tell. The art is a huge improvement, and I think it's a nice mix of cute and sexy. To be honest I haven't even played Genealogy of the Holy War, but this character somehow really resonated with me.

And apparently her story... isn't a happy one.

Anyway, we'll probably get a New Heroes trailer on the 15th. Mythic banner is at the end of the month, so odds are good that an OC is going to bite it.

Am I wrong or is there just no demote on this banner at all? Balthus will be in the pool but not a focus. That's kind of messed up. Really weird that they went for this instead of Awakening or Tellius. (Also, I was hoping to save my orbs -_-)

It's like the Fates beast banner... though thankfully this banner has actual fodder.

I'm glad it's not a Tellius banner. Tellius has plenty of characters that don't need pity treatment, even if they're less popular. It is stupid Nifl didn't share a color on the last banner and there was still a demote on it
