MabusIncarnate 04/26/21 10:26:01 PM #53:	A while back when I worked at Petco we had a breeding pair of convicts in that waterfall endcap tank, and when they had babies and I had to put my hand in there to clean algae and whatnot, they would legit bite me so hard i'd bleed, and I had to start putting them in a different tank when doing maintenance. Super protective of their babies, but i've seen them eat them also so idk what their deal was. --- Above us lay the burdens, Below us lay the truths. Dempseys, Green Terrors and Firemouths are among my favorite. African ones tend to have more color but don't have much variety outside of colors, they all kind of look the same. --- Above us lay the burdens, Below us lay the truths. I can't recommend Purigen enough as a filter media, it works better than carbon, lasts longer, and you need much less. It's fantastic for water clarity also. I think any tank over 55 gallons needs a quality canister filter, it cuts down on a ton of maintenance. --- Above us lay the burdens, Below us lay the truths.
