Skinny jeans are for men who don't need a whole lot of room...if you know what i mean.

It sounds on uncomfortable. I want to be able to move in my clothes. For that reason I would rather wear track pants if they didn't cause me to overheat.

A girl once asked me to get up on the dance floor and work my skinny legs. I felt so embarrassed that I ran out of the club and bought a pair of phat pants. I have worn those phat pants every day since then.

I don't like how confining they feel. They look better than baggy jeans sure, but not everyone sacrifices comfort for fashion

This

I'm autistic and I have a huge thing about how my clothes feel. I dont even wear jeans of any kind. Too stiff and confining for my tastes. Always hated them

The thing is, TC isn't even right on a fashion level. Slim fit jeans were like 10-15 years ago. Go to a trendy bar and note what all the 20-something students are wearing now, it looks straight out of your favourite 90s sitcom of choice.

I prefer fitted clothing, or if I'm home very loose clothing as I'm sitting in my computer chair all day(Pajama pants or Randy River microfiber pants, which sucks because the company no longer exists and its nearly impossible to find another pair.

I like the loose/baggy pants myself, but not 90s JNCO style. If I even try anything less than a relaxed fit, the pockets are useless, and I don't see a skinny fit getting more than an inch or two above my knees.

No. No way. Ive seen girls on the bigger side where I guess it looks okay, but nah this new trend is horrendous. And with those doc marten boots, its terrible. Theyve got the pants pulled up to their belly button so on the back it just looks like a flat wall.

The very tight almost bra like tops theyre wearing with them however arent too shabby at all.

Brah, "timeless" is a marketing gimmick that we all fall for. There's a reason why you don't hear women talking about fashion in terms of durability and existing outside the realms of time. Marketing likes to prey on our insecurities, and it just so happens that wearing on-trend clothes doesn't tend to be one of the things women are insecure about.

For instance, you could easily say that skinny jeans have gone out of fashion right now, whereas loose fit jeans are "timeless" and people are looking back at the 2010s and saying "what was I thinking".

All of this stuff just proves the same point: fashion trends are just trends, and clothes change all the time, and subscribing to timelessness is a waste of...well, time.

The acne studios slim fit jeans I bought a couple of years ago already look dated (and certainly aren't any more durable than the H&M ones I've had for 5+ years), whereas the hand-me-down lacoste windbeater my brother gave me from the 90s is now the height of haute couture. Go figure.

It's really neither, you should wear clothes that fit, that aren't baggy but aren't skin tight.

I wear black skinny jeans from American Eagle, the stretch ones. Super comfy and look great. Band tee + them will always look solid.

They also last a hell of a long time. Wear them for work all the time and they're all still great after 3+ years.
