SilentSeph 03/22/21 5:45:37 PM #9:	I am about 20 hours into the Definitive Version (never played the original or any other DQ) and I'm really enjoying it. Only complaint is the horrible music. I found out you can change the overworld theme to the orchestrated VIII version which is a godsend because the XI theme makes my ears bleed. Other than that, it's really great. I misread the Draconian settings thing at the beginning of the game and I thought you could toggle the handicaps anytime throughout the playthrough but in actuality, you have to turn them on when you start a new file and you can only turn them off afterwards (can't turn them back on again). I recommend at least turning on Stronger Monsters, it makes the battles a lot more hectic and exciting. It's really good, but can't you get it on better platforms now? technically, yes. the real positive here would be the portability aspect of the switch. a friend has it for the ps4, but the controller i have for it has a dead battery. i really wish sony was smarter regarding that aspect of its design since you cant easily replace the battery.
