Where once I thought it was an insane activity relegated to unhinged Americans who could only achieve completion if a flag was in sight, I have since learnt my mistake after recent events in Britain. I am now aware that a bit of cloth signifies just how much I love this country and QUEEN and fully retract my jeering comments I made on it, and how I thought we were better. It turns out we're not. But I would recommend checking out r/vexillology or something, because flags and the field of study relating to flags is actually pretty cool. There's also a shitpost subreddit because the snooty main subreddit got fed up with the meme posts getting way more attention than the other general vexillology posts. A few great flags: Also, flag aspect ratios are interesting. Over 2 thirds of the world's flags are 2:3 or 1:2, with other flags having minor variations in length or height.
