So if I go to host on the weekend nights again like I tend to do, does Friday work better for people over Saturday? I know you work late on Saturday, pojr. What about the rest?

I wish I could stay up later on weeknights to host, but I drive around all day at work, so I gotta make damned sure to get a good night's sleep. There's been times years ago where I was up late the night before, and was starting to nod off while driving and had to pull over in a parking lot for a nap. Nooo bueno lol.

Friday's are usually better for me, but my weekend schedules are always up in the air haha

I keep seeing clips of people using Inkling's neutral b as an edgeguarding tool. Idk if you still play Inkling seriously but here's an example in tje first minute of this clip:

Splattershot is probably very underused. I'm aware it fucks up certain recoveries like Cloud's I just haven't implemented it to my gameplan, I usually use it for pressure and trying to fish for a grab since it forces and locks you in shield.

I think I've officially decided that, despite liking to play as him, Falco is my least favorite character in the game to play against (sans Sonic). I got so unbelievably triggered against my friend playing Falco last night that I rage quit the game lol.

Falco is like G&W for me. He gets away with murder online and offline I think its maybe annoying at times but fair.

I feel that for sure. I think GnW is mostly fair, the down smash and up b just make me sad sometimes. The cutscene combos and confirms with Falco just drove me insane. I'm getting 0-60'd off one grab and then an up tilt back air and I'm dead, pretty consistently too.

I also just like to complain.

My main issue is that for the longest time, I only played against level 9 computers.
Tricking a computer and tricking a human player are two completely different things. So I feel like I'm learning all over again.

Yeah to try and make things harder on myself I'd do 2 or even 3vs1 level 9 CPUs but it's still just not really the same.

I was messing around with Mac the other day and he honestly doesn't seem that bad if your opponent doesn't platform camp you. His recovery isn't even THAT bad, it's really just the fact that he has no aerials.

After I beat 3vs1 the first time I realized I'd spent the last 4 hours or so jumping off the edge to gather the CPUs and strike them with a recovery move. It's a skill that has very little application to real people.

I guess it's good if you're trying to practice recovery from edgeguarding but you can't win a fight by just doing that.

Yeah, I just started playing Sephiroth yesterday and figured out all his moves.

I was on a super good run before I met you. I think I won the first match versus you but then by like round 5 I felt like I was futilely getting slammed by counters to the point I couldn't do anything. Also I cringed pretty hard when I got KO'd at 20% that one game. I felt like I was in a great spot and I had no idea that KO could get me from 20% health. Thought it required 40-45% haha

I always feel super dirty when I use the KO punch.
I know that it's to help balance Mac's horrible recovery, but it still feels wrong.
