I'm so sorry. I had a couple of them since my dad was cheap.

My current computer is about 2 years old. My GPU was upgraded in December, though.

I bought mine about 5 years ago (i7 8700 32G with a 1080) and added a 2080 ti a couple of years ago and it runs pretty damn well.

I have a custom built with most of the major parts being purchased (some even released) last fall. HDD and SSDs are all older and the monitors, especially the secondary one, are a little ancient at this point.

for reference the big components are a 5800X and a 3080 which launched in like November and September 2020 respectively

about 3 years on average, though a few things are newer and others are older. Ryzen 2200G, RX 580, b350 motherboard.

My laptop is 1.5 years old and still runs like a dream. Ryzen 3500U, Lenovo Ideapad.

8 now. Well, the hdd, ram and motherboard are. CPU/gpu are probably 4 which means they were ancient after 1 year. Probably less.

will be 6 years in july with no sign of slowing down.. the 4790k is a total beast.

recently upgraded since buddy of mine sold me his 2060 super for less than $80 since he splurged on the 3090. he had the super for like 2-3 months at most.
also, weird to think DDR5 is out and i'm still on DDR3 xd.

on the flipside i was just hit with a huge tax debt of around $580... fricking a

Built mine a year ago

i originally built this thing in 2011. but since then i've replaced a dead PSU, added RAM, an SSD and a new HDD, upgraded the CPU once the GPU twice. the only original parts are the case, the mobo, one RAM stick and the optical drive. not sure its even the same pc anymore?
