The UK was ahead of the Dutch and Americans when it came to the Slave trade, they'd already figured out it was a bad thing to do. There's no hundreds of thousands of black people brought over like there was In the South

Like I said, I live in one of the big cities with a heavy non white population! I sometimes forget just how white places outside are.

Which is dumb, given I grew up in a town where it was like 99% white people.

The Dutch, Spanish, and Portuguese were the similar in the sense that they used slaves to work in their colonies but didn't bring large numbers to their home countries presumably because slavery wasn't really a thing in western Europe. The Church didn't let people enslave other Christians and by the time the reconquista ended there really weren't enough non Christians around to work the fields.

But how many are big men named Wesley?

I've dated quite a few a few black British women - as the descendent of people descended from people brought from Africans brought over as slaves. Black British women are the jam. The way they talk and carry themselves is stellar.

But they are expensive. I'd go broke for Thandie Newton, Sade, or Naomi Campbell.
