Depends on the circumstances when it gets dropped. I've received both shots of the vaccine so I'm feeling more comfortable being out there. I still wear my mask everywhere for the sake of others' peace of mind. Waiting to see more data/studies about the long term effectiveness of the vaccines.

I'm a retail worker, so lolno. I'll be wearing it until I'm fully vacced(not until May, screw you Gov. Lamont) and there are basically no cases.

I'm vaccinated and will continue wearing a mask regardless of what the state says is required or not.

I do and in a month when the mask mandate stops, nobody is gonna wear masks except the old people

and tbh you can tell who actually has to work with them and who doesn't itt. 8 hours with these things on is atrocious, especially when you have to do something strenuous

It will at least be a few years until I stop wearing a mask. I haven't gotten a cold or anything in nearly a year. I likes dat.

I'm in Texas and I will still wear one at the grocery store until my county gets its numbers down. Other than that nah I'm not wearing one. STAY AWAY FROM ME

No, only complete idiots are disregarding mask recommendations.

That said, as the vaccines roll out they'll probably become less necessary over time. I still like the idea of wearing one if I'm sick and need to go to the store. I hope that catches on.

Alternatively I may wear the mask to trigger the MAGAs

No, it would have been at an earlier stage. As in, saying idgaf to the people screaming racism when they suggested shutting down airports and shutting them down anyway, plus a shutdown on day one of virus detection instead of literal months later.

I work 10 hour shifts of manual labor with a mask on. Its not even remotely bad lol.

Regardless of what states do about their mask mandates, no major business is going to lift their own mask rules and subject themselves to a blitzkrieg of bad PR. Even localized changes would be an optics disaster. If, say, Burger King decided that masks were no longer required in their Mississippi stores, the rest of the country would still catch wind of it and give them hell.

I'm not going to pretend that wearing masks doesn't suck. It absolutely does, and I can't wait to chuck mine in a bonfire once this is all over. But we're still at a point where we have to keep wearing them, regardless of the posturing some states are doing.

Maybe it's just a regional thing, but at least where I am, the bad PR would be definitely for businesses that continue to require the masks.
