I understand that they would cut the shares down but increase the price to match what they were worth before, but doesn't that screw over people with say half a million shares of a company who now get say 500 or 1000? The company would have to become a superpower in order for people to make what they would have with their pre-reverse split shares correct? All they are doing is reducing the amount of outstanding shares out there.
