Apparently it could be a cause, not to mention it causes other wonky software issues. So I've had it disabled. If you don't know where to find it, you can find it under Control panel > system and security > power options > change what the power buttons do. Then at the bottom you'll need to click the 'change currently unavailable settings' or whatever it's called, it's got the windows shield. Then disable fast start up. I only mention this, because it's on by default, causes random issues and might kick the system on for updates.
