Too be fair, this has nothing to do with Biden and everything to do with the Senate. There isn't 50 votes for removing the filibuster so the checks can only be passed through reconciliation and it seems that cannot be done quickly

Yeah, I suppose you have a good prior for that. No movement until absolutely necessary. But still, the timeline for negotiations would be moved up and people would be complaining less because it's actively being worked on, no?

Exactly why check should come first. Political ammo is fine and good but if it is priority #1 over relief, that is a bad look.

Lol I mean, it's easy to talk about from afar but everyone's primary goal is getting what they want in the bill rather than getting it passed immediately. That includes noxious giveaways to businesses and stimmy checks alike, depending on the member

anyone telling you it's because of impeachment, is because they want you to shift blame away from the group that you know, didn't want to do another stimulus and only caved to try to keep georgia.

this isn't a complicated thing. There is no political gain to doing a stimulus now. It only benefits people and that doesn't help either party.
