Maybe I will finally get somewhere in that game. I basically just left Skyloft (that was the starting location, right?) before I ended up messing up my wrist IRL, which given the motion controls meant I was bailing out... and then I never returned. I suppose I always could just hook up my Switch again and try again (like i could have at any point in the last however many years lol) but I may just wait on this and see what, if any, improvements are made.

Skyward Sword definitely my favorite 3D Zelda. (worth saying I haven't played BotW) Probably best story and dungeons of the Zelda games I've played, though Twilight Princess might have it beat in the story category. The field exploration aspect was a bit linear but honestly I found a lot of that really cool also.

Not sure what I'd pick for this FF song? Probably Yuna's Theme but I think I already picked that one earlier so I guess I'll go with Song of Memories from FF9?

Cold Steel 4: Haven't been commenting a lot on CS4 because tbh this is where a lot of my interest in the game itself started to nosedive, though it did recover for the finale. Some of the Crossbell stuff was pretty good though, particularly the Renne stuff you mentioned even if it was a bit short. I also liked the showdown with Rutger in in Act 1, though it was a bit overshadowed by the rest of Act 1 being some of my least favorite content of the entire game.

Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth: Don't have much specific to comment on but I did really like the part you just past xp. Probably what cemented the games as some of my favorites. Part of me still with they went the Tuskur=enemies route but the way they did it was good to

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 6 complete!

And now we're all caught up to the dub. The Scouts' new gear looks super good! The fight between Eren and the Warhammer Titan was really cool. Although I wonder where Armin is because they could probably make use of the Colossal Titan at some point.

Cold Steel 4 Act 2 - oh hey. Something big and interesting is gonna happen in the Pantagruel. You know you wanna see it. But wait, gotta spend a few hours doing optional quests and looking everywhere that updated because you can't live with yourself if you miss AP. Gaaahh. I just wanna keep going with the story but oh well.

I will say they did a really good job with map markers in this game. Really speeds up the exploration sections and have yet to miss anything.

Gameplay in general is the most fun. Like CS1, AT Delay was way broken. Kinda fixed it in 2, but then you discover how broken crafts like Heavenly Gift and Noble Command were. CS3 nerfes AT Delay a lot, but introduces Sledgehammer and Wind Blade. So easy to exploit those, that CS4 did a good job to nerf them a bit. Have to play a bit more defensive, but stuff like Shining, Heavenly Gift and Crescent Mirror are still too good.

F/GO: It's finally time to play the "missing" Epic of Remnant story that was an event instead of a permanently available chapter~. Music is great too. Best of all, I decided to try my luck and see if I could get Melt from the banner since I felt I had a little bit of margin on my Reines/Merlin stash and it worked. Just increases my dread that I'm going to pay for this fortune with a run of bad luck on one of those two. Also massive LOL at over 50 pulls (and over 500 Friend Point ones) and absolutely zero copies of the 3* CE. Literally Melt, Passionlip, NP3 Martha, 5 4* CE, and 3 of the 5* CE but that 3* one? nope. I had a copy laying around from when I must have started playing but it seems I didn't realize it was an Event CE and I merged a copy into it at some earlier point for inventory management purposes which is unfortunate but oh well. I'm happy with this outcome.

AoT S4: I'm guessing Eren just wants to get it away from Marley. If his goal were to recreate Ymir/combine all the powers that'd mean sacrificing Armin and I don't think Eren would want to do that (or Armin the reverse.)

CS4: I thought Act 3 was good, honestly. Act 2 was the one that dragged imo.

I dunno about "sad," per se, but as far as a song that's just packed full of emotion, this one is it. It's not just from the context of the scenes where it's used, but the song itself is just really moving.

Honorable mention to Requiem from Final Fantasy Tactics, a song that doesn't nearly get the credit it deserves, so I felt it needed a shoutout here.

As for yesterday, I came late to Final Fantasy, I think literally FFTA was my first one - followed by FFVI Advance so I don't really have nostalgia for it really. There are a few good candidates for this one (mostly battle themes, but they're kind of designed to get you pumped up, so that's what I naturally gravitate toward for this category), but this song is one of the only ones that'll actually make me get on my feet while it's playing during the game. As odd as that sounds, it's like I just can't stay seated while this song is playing during that fight. It just really raises my energy level.

I was happier to see Linde, Vivi and Mint finally lol. I really enjoyed the fourway boss battles.

Estelle's team was the one that struggled most.

AoT S4E7 watched: Wow, Marley just got wrecked lol. This would be a short season if it stuck but it will 100% not be believable if Reiner turns this around after Zeke, Pieck, and Galliard all got wiped out inside of like 2 minutes by the Scouts. Man, Armin nuking the port comes off as just necessary given all that! Also lmfao at Zeke calling out Levi only to get blown the **** out almost immediately afterwards. talk shit get hit.
