I kind of get snakes, we have some on the beaches here that are nasty, but unless its a Black Widow, Brown Recluse or Funnel Web, getting bit by a spider is mostly the equivalent of a wasp sting unless your allergic. Maybe Im just weird though, I went to a bug zoo and had a tarantula crawl on my face as a kid and didnt even flinch. I feel ya bro. I was reflecting with my wife today about how my pet tarantula is gonna be 20 this year and I'm really sad cuz he's probably gonna die of old age soon. I was pointing out how absurd it is that a pet spider can outlive other pets like cats and dogs and rats that are super intelligent.
