Havent done much today. Was out getting things done mostly.

Finally gonna start rearranging my room. Drew more shapes today.

More space means I can draw more comfortably. I'm going to redo some lessons.

Been redoing my room. So exhausted. Hopefully will be done tomorrow then order new furniture.

Found a lot of my previous commissions I got done at past comic cons. Totally forgot I had some of these!

Did some more practice shapes today, still haven't got my new furniture yet so I'm improvising on space. Pretty hard to do.

Go ahead! It's always good to try again after a while. For me I think my brain starts seeing things I couldnt see before after a rest and it breaks off bad habits for some reason.

I use drugs mostly when I draw. Try having a drink. Also, my daughter messed up my panels page so I gotta start over at some point. I did do a close up of that infamous vegeta pose...

Ill say this. Sometimes its good to post things you arent proud of, cause youll immediately laser in on what you did wrong, and will work to fix it. Maybe thats just me though.

Lol theres like only one keyframe animator in the series that did that (Ebisawa) and it was literally like one frame in the Buu arc. So funny you say that though I just had watched an analysis vid that showed that specific frame and commented on the veins on veins.

OP...if youre interested in drawing DB, a good channel to check out on YT is called ForgottenRelics. He does animation breakdowns for every DB animator, and even covers Akira Toriyama and what kind of art supplies he uses. Great channel for learning and understanding the varying styles of animators and their evolutions over the years.

Decided to switch it up. Dunno if anyone here is a fan of OPM, or Yusuke Muratabut decided to try drawing Saitama...


Sketched so far, and just started to ink. Murata has a special way of shading his art, using quite a bit of line shading, crosshatching, and pointillism...which used to be one of my favorite ways to shade. So, well see how it goes. Ill post some progress maybe tomorrow or the next day.

Ink so fargot a lot of filling to do unfortunately, so Im taking a break. Inside of his cape and left glove will be completely filled, and I dont feel like doing that right now lol.

Basically done minus some extremely fine tuning to clean up any linesplus I need to find a way to make the ends of the picture look natural since it doesnt fill the whole page...like blend the dark parts of the cape on the left onto the blank page. Idk.

Tbh it was a very easy draw...but the shit that absolutely kills me is how long the line-work takes plus the fill insMurata produces like 40+ pages of way higher quality stills than this one I did, which is basically more than 1 a day. Thats do-able, but I couldnt draw like this EVERY day...its excruciatingly tedious, and you eventually jus want it to be over with. I only spent probably a total of 5 hours on/off sketching, drawing, lining, and filling, BUT...If I couldnt have taken breaks like I did and spread those 5 hours over the last 2 days, theres no way it would have came out the way it did. I would have inadvertently ruined it due to my mood.
