I might have to go out over the weekend and buy more printed A4 paper. Or get it from Amazon.

I need to buy more equipment for the later lessons I've realized too. Well, onto Boxes! I'll upload my funnels too soon after more practice.

Such a waste of a day today. Was not in the mood for anything. Not even gaming or movies.

Hopefully I'll be in a better mood tomorrow.

Im gonna start drawing scrap pictures alongside these lessons, just doing the lessons themselves are boring if you just to power through them.

Damn, these perspective lines and points are pretty whack. It didn't go over my head but the half hour video was really informative. I really like how he explains it. I feel like I've learnt a lot tonight!

To keep track in this topic I've been using Drawabox. A really good informative lesson structure.

https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/6

I've been on this for the past few days, doing the homework. Progress is slow since whenever I try to power through, I get burnt out and I stop enjoying it. So i'm being careful of that.

They're just random shapes and circles to enhance muscle memory on my shoulder. Also I've been weight training recently so this is making my arm hurt even more.

I should draw before exercising.

I find drawing by pencil much easier than using Fine Liners. Anyone else get this? My lines and circles come out much smoother.

Anyone know of a good drawing tablet? I might start using mine soon after these lessons. I bought a XP-Pen Deco01 a few years ago but haven't even opened it. I promised myself to learn on paper first before even thinking about using a drawing tablet. Was the tablet a good choice?

All I see is blank pieces of paper

They weren't very good pictures I agree. And my drawing with pencil is not confident, as pointed out by another user, so it's only lightly drawn.

Whenever I draw with more pressure I make mistakes which arent easily fixed. Need to work more on that.

Make your mistakes. You learn more as an artist from your mistakes than anything else.

Fail early. Fail often.

I'll try harder. It's kind of like slight OCD when I see the mistakes but I'm learning more and more to let it go.

Pretty much aiming to draw for realism instead of anime/cartoony style so even if I wanted to switch back and forth, I heard learning to draw based on real life is much better for learning the basics.

I was looking at my favourite artists and there is one by the name of WLOP that always amazes me. His art blows me away. I really want to aim for that quality and even if I will never get to that level, it still gives me motivation that art can look so beautiful.

This is a great idea. I'm currently using my desk as a computer workstation as well as a drawing space and I personally prefer to have a dedicated space just for art.

It's so much better for work flow. Good call.

Thanks. Just gotta re-arrange things and throw out stuff. I'll have my art desk placed somewhere close to the window.
