I also just tried to sell 33 dollars worth of DOGE and it removed them from my account but hasn't actually given me any money for them yet? I'm hoping this is just a delay somewhere and I'm not out that money.

I wonder how many investors are pulling their money from long/short funds. If I had invested in one and did not get firm assurances that they did not have short exposure to GME, AMC, and others I would be trying to get my money out ASAP.

Agreed on theaters, disagree on Gamestop. The new management team is very promising and are looking at radically different business models from what was there before. I was already kinda bullish on Gamestop when it was trading in the teens as I could see it doubling from there.

I do half in both. Not sure if one is objectively better than the other. Probably depends on your situation somehow.

One common thought is that traditional 401(k) + Roth IRA hedges your bets pretty well on the whole traditional vs. Roth thing.

Roth makes total sense as long as your income is under the limit. Once you're past the limit then I think there is a discussion to be had about whether you go trad or not.

I'm betting on marginal tax rates being all around higher when I retire, and the tax free roth is a nice supplement to other taxable income at retirement

Totally makes sense. You want to contribute as much as you can really -- $6000 cap for 2020 (deadline April 15, 2021) and same cap for 2021 (deadline April 15, 2022). Especially important to open an IRA since your company doesn't provide a retirement plan.
