Huh, Ameritrade will still let me buy AMC calls as well as super small amounts of the commons. But if I put in an order bigger than like 50, it won't let me despite having 20k+ not invested in anything.

Because even if the hedge firms concede, Reddit will tell themselves that it's a lie (and they will probably be right) and fight even harder.

Because there will be a huge squeeze on all these stocks before that. Just have to get out before that. I expect the dump on Friday. Probably selling pre-market tomorrow

Well the legit good news is AMC will avoid bankruptcy for at minimum 2021. That's what makes it a safe stock to invest in at $4.

But yes calls/puts expiring on Friday to squeeze these oranges is what we're here for.

Seriously though maybe not. Set a target number based on your needs, sell then. That's what I'm going to do.

I'm aiming for 200k. That's enough for a car + $100k to invest + some extra money to pay taxes etc.

That's why I plan on selling $30 calls to start. If those cash I'll be close enough to 200k that I won't be disappointed.
