Tik tok is terrible, bad enough whoever uses it has their data harvested to the chinese government but they are full of insane challenges like when they were doing the tide pods consumption ones. Parents need to grow a brain and boot all their children off the platform

Why not? You can just take their phone away. Its simple. And if you really need them to have a phone then make sure you look at it yourself and delete anything not needed. I feel sad for this child and all the people who use tik tok, no clue about the data harvesting and how their children's and their own information is being gathered by a foreign government

Thanks to easy editing a lot of these "challenges" aren't even real and are meant as a joke. Unfortunately, small children don't understand that and should definitely be kept away from this stuff.

For people struggling to understand, it's like the joke answers that people put up on here. We may not have been quite this dangerous, but time was CE would do stuff like advise deleting System 32 for all computer questions and stuff. The idea was that everyone knew it was a joke and didn't actually do it.

Nah. If they want to do it theyll find a way. When I was 10 my parents had this software installed on our computer that blocked most of the popular websites including YouTube. I just unvisited the sites that they blocked at my friendss houses or at the computer lab at my after school program. When I turned 11 I bought myself a psp and I was able to visit almost any site I wanted to without them knowing

Nope. School computers, a friends phone or computer, etc. Even if parents take away their internet privileges kids will find a way to get back on.
