You get 1 year. See description

Inside would be every machine & weight rack imaginable that is useful to a human being. Both cardio and weights. There would be a shower, bathroom, a self-cleaning bed, and a kitchen area resupplying with some healthy but decent tasting staples. After a year when you come out it would be January 18 2021. You will be a year older but nobody would know except from your body transformation. It's for humans not superhumans/saiyans so normal gravity and everything

You can bring as many books as you want but electronics won't work inside. Once you're in, it won't reopen until the year has passed.

Its the other way around. No one would realize you left. You still lose a year of your life.

I mean I don't lose any real time in terms of how life would go outside of it. I guess I did word that wrong. Using 1 year of my life to do this as the world around me virtually freezes would be amazing.

Its could also do the complete opposite as your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Especially since humans are social creatures and this proposal makes you literally alone for a whole year. This includes no internet, phone, friends, chatting nothing.

Personally I'd go crazy, IMO most would go crazy literally having no interaction with anyone for a whole year.

I'm surprised at the people saying yes tbh. They are practically signing up to lose their mind and go insane. No one can handle solitary confinement for an entire year, that's nuts.

Think it has more to do with being in complete isolation from anyone for an entire year that I think people aren't properly calculating.

No internet (which includes the stimuli interaction with others via internet), no family, no friends, no pets, no pseudo interactions. A another human or animal simply being in the same room as you acts as a stimuli. Even the interactions of simply being around others you arent even talking to plays a role in your mental health even down to something simple as motivation.

This is no interaction with others whatsoever, for an entire year. A year, completely alone. This is something people tremendously underestimate the toll it would take mentally on most homo sapien sapiens.

A major factor of the psychological damage incurred by solitary confinement comes from the very small amount of space aloted to the victim and the lack of stimuli to interact. Stuff like books will make a big difference plus you can eat and exercise whenever you want and the time chamber has a sweet bedroom.

I already did 6 months of this from depression and a very bad situation. I'm not like that anymore, and it's certainly not ideal, but the silver lining from that period is I can remember the settings of my brain, for lack of a better term. Isolation won't bother me. You kinda dissociate from time almost entirely.

Ya, I seriously doubt you did this.

It means you spoke absolutely to no one, didn't see a single person or animal including from a distance, didn't hear a single person or animal including from a distance, and most importantly havent touched any form of electronics which includes the internet or a phone. For 6 straight months. Not even a small moment within those 6 months.

Depression certainly sucks and its great you got out of it, but people confuse pseudo isolation to true absolute isolation based on the premise of this topic.

Even the most trivial interactions you dont even think of (for example seeing or hearing another creature or sounds caused by other creatures just from a distance) defeats the premise of this topics isolation. Even if its for a moment.

Choosing not to interact with others personally is an entirely different monster of loneliness than being thrown into a soulless world void of any creatures whatsoever.

No electronics, but food was left at my door every so often, so that's something. I have to question your certainty of the significance of those moments, though.
