Age of Empires 2 is a classic that got a really good remaster last year, so that's another one to check out. If you're looking for games that are actually new things get harder. Each mission has something unique, so it's not just build the same things you always do and then run over the enemy. You get unique upgrades for your stuff too, so there's some replayability. :D I play co-op nowadays. Ok, the AI always builds in proportionate response, so if you build fighter+bomber+missile (your basic rock/paper/scissors units) your opponent will do the same and it turns into a slog... but if you build only fighters, they'll build only your counter proportionately, so then you have your fighters do something like lure the enemy away while you send in something else. Of course, my FAVOURITE is Offworld Trading Company, which somehow is a non-combat RTS... all your units are different forms of gathering or sabotage and you have to obtain economic dominance while playing the stock market. --- "Salt cures Everything!" Sudden Strike 4 complete edition is amazing if you like command and conquer. Probably the best RTS game on consoles. They Are Billions is ok, but the gameplay loop is a one trick pony that gets old fast. Multiple ways to win, handful of races, and multiple front lines as you play on a map between 4(i think) and dozens and dozens of planet systems. Me and my buddy had a game where it was me and him vs to advance AIs on the largest map we could make.
