I don't get why so many people are having a hard time understanding this. When you sign up for Twitter, you agree to a terms of service, if you break them then you run the risk of getting banned. It's like getting upset that you were banned from gamefaqs for repeatedly censor bypassing the n word. Twitter is global, yes, but the same idea applies. He wasn't banned for having a different viewpoint, he was banned for causing acts of violence.

I always wondered what happened to her. She was big like 10-11 years ago.

So don't bitch that he can't address the public. He just can't post a one-sentence headline-like statement with zero sources or context just to get reactions. Trump never used Twitter to actually convey useful information, only to whine, attack and insult people, or post whatever conspiracy theory of the day was in his head with no source or evidence.

A platform that limits you to few enough characters to fit in a text message is not an appropriate tool for political discourse to begin with.

This whole thing is stupid and I don't trust most of the people making these claims about free speech. Even if I give them some charity and assume they're just talking about the culture of free speech rather than the first amendment, I still think there just playing victim.

If they want to talk about anti trust issues regarding companies, I'm fine with that. But I doubt these people would actually be for the policies that would "solve" that.
