I chose 2DS over 3DS. I wouldn't get a Switch light though. I'd sacrifice gimmicks to pay less, but not important features.

I think some people bought it only because the regular ones were sold out. And planned to get a regular one when they were back in stock...

It's better for me, as I don't own a television.
I also played it for like 10 hours in the entirety of 2020.

Bought a Lite instead of a regular one because by the time I got the money to get one, all the sites I looked at either didn't have a regular one in stock, or had them priced higher than MSRP.
