There just isn't much to say. It's not a terrible movie. It's completely meh, and doesn't do anything worthwhile. And it delivered. Seeing characters from a video game you enjoyed being in a "real" movie was so impressive to me. Pokemon, too. Detective Pikachu did a good job (but it can be better, of course) There are also a lot more video games that can be turned into live action movies and it would be appealing to me (Assuming the movie won't suck, of course) But Disney remakes are just...why? there is no reason.
