I mean, if you're not paying a huge sum, how good can it be, really?

Yeah that's a fucking ripoff.

Let me break it down for you:

Intel i9-10850K - about $400 maybe 450
RTX 3080 - 750-800
32 GB DDR4 RAM - 200
Case and fans - maybe 100
PSU - maybe 100
1 TB SSD - 120 max
2TB HDD - 50-60

Total - $1720-1800

So essentially you're buying a scalped 3080 if you get this prebuilt.

why do you need a 3k gaming pc? at most you could spend 1500 and I could find a million reasons to blow 1500 on. Hell, you could have a good time in Vegas with 1500.

Any expensive PC that puts an HDD in instead of more SSD is a joke

Not even Win10 Pro for $3k. That's sad.

TC, I got effectively the same build, just with half the RAM but a full 10900K, from CyberPowerPC for only $2k.

Eh, HDDs can be good for cold storage. I use one from my old PC for that.

For an external storage/backup, sure, but internally they should never be used

Yeah, if you look up the price history on camelcamelcamel, Amazon was selling that for $2000 so its being sold at a 50% markup by the 3rd party

It has a 1 TB ssd, whaddya guys talkin' about. Anyways, I don't know that I'm truly looking at this system to purchase. but I was dream-building and couldn't find a freaking graphics card. In my search I found this baby! I would like to put forth a humble argument that because rtx 3060 is no where to be found (plus this has an i9), this is worth a look, if nothing else.

If your can find one that's not being resold, around $2k, I'd pull the trigger. I mean, I already did, but I'd suggest you do too

if you're paying 3k for a pre-built pc, the least it can be is custom water cooled... its not worth a 1k+ premium, but its the least they can do.
