The reveal that Warner Bros. will have two different film sagas involving Batman played by two different actors running at the same time is sure to pique fan interest. Pattinson is behind one of the franchises, while its rumored The Flash movie will set up the future of the Dark Knight in the DC Extended Universe. Affleck played Bruce Wayne/Batman in two DCEU entries before exiting the role, but his Flash appearance has many assuming hell be handing over the baton to a new DCEU Batman.

I dont think anyone else has ever attempted this, Hamada said about the multiverse expansion. But audiences are sophisticated enough to understand it. If we make good movies, they will go with it.

Poor DC is gonna have their lunch eaten by Marvel again lol.

Somehow missed that Keaton was returning for The Flash though. Really they may as well do the spin-off movies like Batgirl or whatever from that universe! It's so much cooler.

I doubt we'll really see much more of Affleck Batman so I don't think it'll matter much. He'll do his thing in The Flash (and probably will still barely be in the movie) and will be done.

The DCEU as a concept just isn't gonna go anywhere now anyway so who cares? It's only really gonna be Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Aquaman and The Flash and The Flash is gonna be the only movie that'll do anything with it and even that is gonna be using multiverse shenanigans.

Yeah, it's been known for a while that The Batman is completely seperate. And we've known about Batman in the The Flash as well.

They've already opened up the multiverse with the Arrowverse way before Marvel did. There's A LOT of room for potential there. No reason there can't be multiverse team ups as is already happening.

I just can't find it in myself to care about anything they do until they actually get a plan off the ground. I have no idea why they put hundreds of work hours and millions of dollars into the Snyder cut which has no chance whatsoever of rekindling the DCEU. They literally just want the same movie to flop twice. On top of that, it's just been a bottomless rumor mill for years now. People are stil talking about the Flashpoint movie like it's a thing that is actually going to happen. Pretty sure Ezra Miller doesn't even know if he still has a contract with them. The whole thing is a mess.

They should just do away with the Justice League shit and make all of these heroes their own individual franchise. Hamada paints having an EU and a 'multiverse' as some artistic new horizon when it's really just throwing shit at the wall and hoping something sticks.

There isn't really any Justice League stuff being built up anymore.

I meant JL as in trying to connect all of these characters across their movies. Like with the Flash movie involving the entire roster or whatever. I get they want to keep Gal Gadot or Jason Mamoa or whoever but they can do that while also rebooting their movies. It's not like any of this shit is making any sense anyways lmao

Eh they're tapping back into Batman 1989 for Flashpoint so even that is probably barely gonna be a DCEU movie. At most whatever happens here will probably dictate which universe future Batfamily spin-offs will be in since I doubt they'll want to wait for Battinson to be established. Outside of that sequels to current characters in this universe will still be 'Earth 1' even though it won't matter at all.

Then it sounds like everything else will be its own thing. If they're calling The Batman 'Earth 2' they're probably looking at that long term to be their new DCEU way down the line if the movies are a hit and start new characters there. But that'll be a long ways off.

Maybe I just want them to just stop all together cuz it just keeps sounding worse the more I think about it lol I felt like Pattinson Batman had the potential to save this shit. James Gunn Suicide Squad too. Nothing outside of those two sounds exciting.
