I just saw it, what a shit movie. For a super hero movie, there were hardly any action scenes and the action scenes were piss poor. Everything else was bad too.

To expand upon that; you're alleging that RT critics are biased and/or solely politically correct because "muh womenz" get movies with below average film scores on RTs with mixed results when it comes to audience scores and/or box office performances.
What an insane argument. All of the films you listed have a score below 7.00 on RT lol, except the first Wonder Woman. Lucy: 6.00 Ocean's 8: 6.3 Ghostbusters: 6.5 Captain Marvel: 6.8 The 1st Wonder Woman film had both positive critic reception and audience reception whereas the above trended towards below average reception from critics to below average-negative audience reception, though Captain Marvel was pretty notably review bombed and broke 1 billion at the box office, so "real" audience reception was likely positive. We can keep going with this but honestly this shit's tired and embarrassing. It's always people whose cultural grasp of film is just disney/star wars/superhero stuff and nothing else. It's like that dude who had a meltdown over Parasite winning over Joker because all he knows is shootfight movies lmao --- Enjoy movies and television? Check out my blog! In fact, even WW84 has a 6.3 score, same as Ocean's 8. It actually has a better audience reception than a critical one, so this isn't even a case of critics being ultra disconnected from your typical moviegoer. This thread is just whining about female led movies

So what exactly was bad about JL apart from critics telling you it's bad becos they hate Snyder? Also, hey, while I'm here, the reason Justice League is bad is because it was a mesh of two different director's ideas. Whedon and Snyder had entirely different ideas on approaching the movie and Whedon was essentially brought on as a fixer for the studio, resulting in a short, incohesive mess that was too inconsistent in tone and ideas from BvS/MoS and too basic in terms of plot/character. Steppenwolf was a CGI mess and was a very poor antagonist, which is something DC usually nails, or at least makes divisive. Multiple character plotlines were cut down significantly, making the film have less depth. Critics didn't hate it because of Snyder. That's not even a coherent argument since he wasn't the sole director of the project. They didn't like it because it was a mess. I actually am willing to defend Snyder but JL wasn't entirely his doing which is why a "Snyder Cut" even exists. The fact you don't even know this after the massive media campaign success about it is baffling since you apparently keeps tabs on critic opinions of every female-led movie. Critics aren't abusing their power. You just don't understand film or film criticism or even basic details of the films you're defending or attacking. Close this abomination of a thread, please god --- Enjoy movies and television? Check out my blog! If anything, I'm only glad Netflix is taking over through streaming and shutting down the influence of movie critics these days. Now audiences no longer need to google a movie's review score after taking a wait-see approach. They can now easily access any movie they want without barriers

As an action movie it did seem super underwhelming at times. I thought Kristen Wiig's character was weird until I found out what she became. I also didn't realize how long it was. Nothing about it felt "sjw" though. I don't get the complaint.

and you people still take movie critics seriously.Uh 65% while more positive then negative isn't even that good. That is a D. That means plenty of critics still disliked it. Also those good reviews bring up the movies flaws. Some people liked the movie and some people did not. You did not like the movie. That is fine. However that doesn't make the opinions of people who liked the movie invalid. Also the audience score is higher then the critic score. --- Occam's razor: The simplest solution (answer) is most likely the right one ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't entirely disagree, but I don't think the effect is nearly as dramatic as you're saying.Simple the quality of the movie. The tomatoe meter is a percentage based on how many people liked it divided by the total number of reviews. That is all. People won't pretend to like something if it hits "woke points" as one that's not a reason thing and second quality actually matters. Remember a 97 percent fresh means 97 percent of reviews are positives. Most of those reviews could be B- or C scores and they would still ad to the positive over all. That isn't even hard to understand and yet people don't get it. --- Occam's razor: The simplest solution (answer) is most likely the right one ... Copied to Clipboard!
