Tommy's right. Put more effort cuz they didn't anything but pose then charge at the army. Carol literally was like "see ya" and blasted through by herself. Okoye took down Corvus by herself, and the others were just blasting away. I think Gamora and Brunnhilde attack same the giant target though.
In IW, there was an actual team-up, each combatant protecting each other from blows and ganging up Proxima till Wanda said "fuck it" LOL. I

It wasn't a coincidence that Black Widow and Okoye happened to be in that ditch ready to fight that female villain in Infinity War?

This is really the issue with it for me. Don't have a problem with the women unite part, I have a problem with it being done in a completely pointless way. Carol had just destroyed Thanos' ultimate galaxy conquering warship simply by flying through it, and then Okoye is like "she's got help" and literally stabs one alien with her spear. Come the fuck on. You're right, it definitely should have happened in order to help another of the women get the gauntlet to Carol or something.

Basically, removing Carol from that scene improves it by a lot, because her powers kind of throw tension to the wind.

An extended action sequence where Carol is busy destroying the ship in the background while on the ground a bunch of female heroes participate in a long game of keep away with the Gauntlet would have been much more satisfying.

The MCU has what they dont. Heart. The vision and the pieces have changed along the way. We didnt get the Edger Wright Ant Man (no ones more disappointed than me). Well never see Chadwick return as the King of Wakanda. But almost ANY Marvel nerd you talk to will tell you how much these movies rock and how they have complete and utter faith their heroes are In good hands.

I think the only questionable part of that is the use of the lightning. He knows how to use most weapons in general, Im sure hes used a hammer before, Vision comments in Age of Ultron how the hammer is well balanced for people that can actually lift it, and Cap has a lot of experiencing throwing things at enemies in a fight. Its actually probably easier to use the hammer than the shield since he can just will it to return to him rather than having to know the proper angle to throw it like with the shield.

I mean you can swing anything with a strap around like a helicopter blade. He knows how to use most weapons and the hammer is well balanced, I doubt it would be that difficult for him to spin it around like that just because he hasnt wielded that particular hammer before.
