For example I've seen some crappy ass opinions lately.

"Resident Evil writing sucks"

It's not supposed to be well written. It's literally a B movie style game. You're a buffoon if you think otherwise.

"Devil May Cry's story is ass"

See Resident Evil.

"Skyrim is garbage!"

I don't really feel like defending dumbass Bethesda but I can't deny that this game was amazing in 2011. Today? I don't really care for it anymore.

"Bad voice acting!"

Usually people who call Dabura "Dabra" and Buu "Boo." Not the best example but I'm talking about people who change the language to Japanese even though they don't know a lick of Japanese. This might be irrational but I feel disgusted to be a part of the same fan base as these people... They take a series that you like and neckbeard-ify it.

I don't even think a ton of people know what bad voice acting is. If you dislike a character, they don't have bad voice acting by default.

Not to mention the infamous toxic people of all of gaming. PC players. They're like people who drive manual. How do you know if someone drives manual? Don't worry. They will let you know. A ton of people have a bad ass PC and no chick. They need to get the attention online.

Also, whoever replies to this will have a generic few word response that addresses 0 of this. People can't back up their shitty opinions lol

I won't argue against anyone who says the story is badly written, it's not supposed to be high level literature. It's enjoyable and it did exactly what it needed to fucking do in a AAA way. I love it.

It's entertainment. If it entertains, it worked.

What's annoying is when neckbeards say "Yeah I don't give a shit about the DMC story I just wanna play the game."

We don't need to know your useless input. If you want to play it then play. Why tell us? Nobody gives a crap.

i never thought i would genuinely complain about bad voice acting in an anime dub until I watched t Cardcaptors Sakura re-dub from a while ago.

Like Netflixvangelion made a few missteps but even thats fine. But gosh, Cardcaptors level of bad shouldnt be possible from a major anime production this decade >_>

It is funny how "skyrim sucks" is near universal here when most users have 100+ hours in it and it's one of the best selling games of a time and 10 years later we still talk about it

If there's one thing Skyrim has its a lot of things to do. Sword combat sucks wee wee though. Way better in VR

Skyrim is fantastic if you treat it as a "go do whatever you want" game. But if you expect a more traditional RPG with a story then you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

That people still make numerous mods for it shows it's still damn liked/popular as well.

I'm not a fool who watches something in a language I don't understand unless it's very important. For example playing Yakuza in English would be stupid.

For fantasy worlds where it was originally made in Japanese, that's just being a weaboo.

For example Blazblue. Do i want to hear "Hell's Fang!!!!!!!" or do I want to hear "HELSOORU FANGOO"

Trigun. What sounds cooler? Millions Knives or Millionsu Kniborusu.

I still appreciate the Japanese acting, it can be better at times, but that doesn't make it automatically so. Acting like hearing English (especially if it's your main language) is automatically bad just because it wasnt originally made in English is ridiculous. People act like every dub is 4kids level. They exaggerate as fuck.

And it's this reason why games like Dragonball Fighterz have the language automatically in Japanese even though it has a full English dub and most people in USA have obviously watched and loved the English dub. Why? Because people who play fighters are usually weaboos.

Edit: I should also add that for people who actually know Japanese, I don't find a problem with that at all obviously.

If it's important to the setting to be Japanese like Yakuza then obviously the original language is best.
