Depends on if you want the game now or not. I'm not sure how long it'll take until the price goes down... Though, if I was in your position based on the post you always make, I don't think the extra money it cost now should affect you...

I've got 50+ hours in the game and I'm really enjoying it. At a glimpse, it's Ubisoft's Breath of the Wild.

You have upgradeable life and stamina, can climb on everything, glide across the map, there's "vaults" which function almost identically to the shrines in BotW, the Godly Powers are essentially the Slate abilities, there's different skins, crafting, weapons, mounts...

Couple big differences from BotW are the crafting being super-simplified. Basically single ingredients to make 4 different potions. And there's no weapon breakage/degradation.

Game is a lot more comedic than I expected. Some of the humor falls flat but I've enjoyed it for the most part.

I'd hazard to say that if you enjoyed BotW, you'll enjoy this game. It's an obvious love letter to BotW, but I think it does enough to stand on its own. Story is just okay, but the game is fun.

Oh and I want to point out a lot it those vaults and chests on the overworld involve puzzles much like Breath of the Wild. I've completed dozens of these, and they're my favorite part of the game. None have been particularly mind-bending, but I still get a sense of satisfaction in finding the solutions

Youre all in international? Like I do a 75-20-5 American stock -international stock - US Bond and have considered lowering American and upping international to like 60-35-5.

I absolutely hate weapon breakage. Not having it is a huge plus. Hmmm, this description sounds like Id like the game. I own but havent yet played much BotW, like two hours and it didnt fully click as much as other things I had going in at the time. The trailer I didnt like, it looks like itd be humor that doesnt click, but the gameplay videos look fun. This is making me lean towards it.

Wait, its Ubisoft and they deserve as little money as possible.

I've played these and liked them all for different reasons.

Fenyx just became my 112th platinum (disclaimer: 95 % of my platinums are easy to obtain - I'm not some great trophy hunter I just have a lot of trophies on account that I play a lot of games).

What Remains of Edith Finch was one of my favorite games the year it released.

I'm assuming the Spider-Man you're after is the Miles Morales one. I'd wait on a sale for that. It's 100% DLC they spun off into a standalone game. Not worth more than maybe $20, and I say that as someone who enjoyed it. It's the exact same map as the first game, down to gang hideout locations and everything. Kinda bullshit how they promoted this game as the "next" entry into Spider-Man. It's more like a halfway point to a full-blown sequel

If you want a new game for PS5, get it now while it's on sale. The gold edition probably won't hit $30 until black friday at the earliest. The game is awesome. Just grab it now and it will tide you over throughout the short drought we are entering.

Isn't the Regular and Gold edition's on sale right now? Something like 33% off on the psn store.

wizards of legend is good

This game is so much fun. Once you beat it once you unlock some run modifiers and one of them is that each ability randomly swaps to a new ability after roughly 5 uses. It's so chaotic and awesome. Probably most fun I've had in a roguelike.

However, theres not that many enemies or bosses. That's definitely the weakest part.

idk, does the gold edition even confer all that much value?

Different editions, DLC, etc, have generally killed much of the appeal of gaming for me since now I always just wait for a complete edition to be available cheaply.

Getting a bit more into Fenyx, I love it. Maybe even my Game of the year. Will buy season pass when its on sale.
