The line is that it should be treated as legitimate, not that it currently is. Arguing against a stigma doesn't entail pretending the stigma doesn't currently exist.

A parent is often proud of their son or daughters husband/wife. They dont want to hear how they have sex.

he doesn't know the why the women are pursuing sex work, how their relationships with their family are, or how revealing their sex work might affect those relationships.

but even if he did, it's not his place to mess with people's lives like that.

the only situations where I'd support it is if the young woman was underage, and/or there was reason to believe something else illegal was going on (trafficking, abuse, coercion/force, etc.), but in cases like those, you should contact law enforcement instead.

Yes, the goal of the criminal justice system should be reform and rehabilitation. Again, that in no way means that things like sexual harassment shouldn't be crimes, so what is your point?

It's hard to really judge because I don't know the scope of his actions. This is not a one time thing but a serial sexual harasser. A jail sentence could be reasonable, or probation and strict monitoring for internet activity while undergoing counseling could be.

Your daughter can be ambitious and a sex worker at the same time. The two aren't mutually exclusive. You can encourage your daughter to aim higher than sex work without instilling in her the notion that sex work is self-disrespectful.
