It's like getting involved in organized crime and expecting to never have to deal with violence. Or how about selling weed and expecting to never get robbed. Or working in fast food and expecting to never smell like greasy food.

Selling images/videos of your body is something that attracts a ton of creeps.

Sure it would never ever happen if that guy wasn't a big enough creep to send it to her parents, but creeps quite literally are her entire business.

It doesn't for one second make what the creep did ok, but it's mega stupid to get involved in something like that and not expect a ton of creep activity.

So based on this and a few of your following posts, I just need some clarification on your perspective. Are you under the assumption that everyone that watches porn is fucked up, or just men that watch porn or just people that pay for it?

Sex work in general isn't a great gig. If you wouldn't be proud of your own daughter doing it then well....

Specifically, that site, seems to attract a lot of really desperate men. I assume because it is so amateur based that it really brings out the weirdos. I really only have a true problem with that site.

I mean, I have varying levels of problems with a lot of things in the sex industry.

I won't claim that porn is never exploitative or deny that I consume it on a regular basis.

I also won't deny that I both care a lot about workers rights, but also consume a ton of products made by foreign workers in terrible working conditions.

It's difficult to avoid living in some level of contradiction. Ultimately, I draw the line at that site when it comes to sex work.

You asked a super black and white question that was loaded with assumptions and I highlighted my issue with that and acknowledged a few things and I simplified my conclusion.

Ok so how is that site any worse than any other version of porn in regards to "mentally unstable men?"

Also my question to you was not loaded, nor was it black and white. It was asking you to clarify your perspective because you keep bringing up mentally unstable men. I want you to clarify what you mean by that and how it is affected by the existence of porn.

The hub is completely free. It's still not good for them but at least it's not bleeding them dry.

It's much more personal and accessible with direct financial contributions from user to creator. It's a porn site made to appeal to simps and women who seek to profit from simps. Guys who simp don't exactly come off like the emotionally stable type. The idea is to profit from their obsessiveness.

Other porn and social media sites aren't free from this by any means, but that website is one of the worst offenders.

This was added as part of your edit so I didn't address it in my previous post.

And yeah I really didn't think much of your question. It was definitely loaded and black and white. You are asking how my stance on emotionally unstable men is affected by the existence of porn. Like I have made some general statements on porn and the sex industry, but I draw a pretty big line between what is generally consumed and what is consumed on that site.

If you got the idea that I hold a grudge or major moral judgement on porn or the sex industry then you simply haven't understood my points. I've pointed out issues with it sure, but my response that you found lacking was an attempt to frame this within a larger picture. Me and you as well as others consume content that may or may not be the best for us and we should think about that more and just try to be better. We are still going to do problematic things, because it can be rather inescapable. All ya gotta do is try a little bit in my eyes. My aim is not to come off harsh in a moral sense.
