making money = having wywtci, so therefore if someone makes money it follows that they have wywtci
like if you go back in time and have an unattractive woman do everything belle delphine did down to the letter, she most likely wouldn't have been as successful as belle delphine, right?

"Luck" (there's no such thing, it's as intangible and unreal as Karma, gremlins, magic curses, and ESP) plays the biggest factor into success with any endeavor, not just the ethot variety, but the ability to understand and market the most effective components of your business is something that takes skill and turns a good success into a great one.

Once upon a time Blockbuster had every advantage in the world on Netflix. Blockbuster had resources that Netflix could only dream of for a while. But because Netflix understood streaming was the future and how to market it while Blockbuster doubled down on their physical shit, they lost. This is a straight business/marketing failure. Blockbuster had already won the luck jackpot by making it to where they were but failed to acknowledge market trends.

Belle got lucky with the bathwater incident but has since turned herself into a product that far outclasses anything she did with bathwater.
