Do you think this is a "good" hiding spot for a console?

A reddit user who is a parent of teen kids wanted to surprise them with the hottest holiday electronic this year...a PS5..but he needed to hide it in a place where he would NEVER find it..and he thought this would be the best place of hiding it cause his kids never clean up after themselves.

He shared the picture of the teen's highly coveted PS5 that every young teen or adult wants this year and were quickly sold out but this parent was lucky after he was one of the surprise first buyers in line for it.

He wrote in the caption "We know the teenage kids will never find it here"

The console fit right in as they believe their kids will never look in there..

Do you think this is a good hiding spot for a console?

Clever in one sense, extremely stupid in another. Hopefully the obvious scenario doesn't play out. If he was smart, he'd turn off the corresponding circuit breaker, or just unplug the machine.

It's clearly a "lol lazy kids" joke, but it's dumb. Even if you never clean up, your still sure to open it up to get clean dishes out that you need.

Depends on if they need to. As long as their are dishes in the cabinet, they may not have to get clean dishes from the dishwasher...

trunk of a vehicle wouldve been the best choice (covered up with something), and what if his kids go on this site and see this post, also bet one of the things they have to do around the house is load/unload the dishwasher

I don't know, I'm not a fan of leaving electronics in my frozen car. Should be fine, but makes me nervous.

Some folk are not very bright. Water and electronics don't mix. He could always hide it in his bedroom or behind a locked door.

As long as it's not too cold, it should be fine. You could also wrap it in a blanket, as well... I would think. I know I usually keep a couple blankets in my car just in case...

Unless the parents never clean at all, not sure how that's a good idea.
