Isn't, like, 99% of it just two actors who look like they could be vaguely related (if they don't just call them step-whatever) dropping a quick line to establish to the audience that they're TOTALLY related and the multiple camera angles and everything doesn't mean it's fake?

I thought that was what basically all of that sort of thing was. Some actors doing their best to establish that they're REALLY step siblings, pizza delivery guys, a Mexican mariachi band, or whatever else was needed to set the scene before the naughty stuff happened.
