The unusual move to buy the 5 bedroom house in Jamaica Estates handed to the presidnt as a gift but only once the hefty price is me It has been sold twice since 2016 but no one has yet to buy it It was sold before his inauguration for 1.4 million, about 78% higher than when it sold for 782,000 in 2008 The buyer then sold it to the most recent owner for 2.14 million at an auction as Trump himself expressed interest in buying it "Love Trump?" the fundraiser is called, kicked off on Tuesday that reads "Thank President Trump by contributing to this campaign to buy his childhood home in his honour!" Misha Haghani who is the real estate agent said it would be more likely if 1 million of his followers contribute 3 dollars each to reach its goal rather than one wealthy buyer He said the house is unique since a former presidnet has lived here but still, no one is in the market to snap it up..he thinks it's because the president is so polarizing that he isn't as popular as he believes Trump has changed his residence from New York to Florida as he wants nothing to do with NY anymore considering his investigations and has lost the state twice in the election. That's actually a pretty decent looking house, but of course its not worth that much. It's just like all collector's items, its worth more because of its history.

idk, when buying gifts for billionaires you have to go bigger. Giving a billionaire a gift that will be meaningful based on dollar value alone is a thoroughly impractical, foolish idea. If you're giving a billionaire a gift, you need to get something they will like, but wouldn't have thought of buying for themselves. That's true of every gift, really, but at least with non-billionaires you can say they wouldn't have bought it for themselves because of the cost, should you fail to achieve that ideal. --- This is my signature.
