For as long as I've owned a Nintendo Switch - December 2017, so 3 years now - Stardew Valley has been on the eShop charts. It's slipped a little bit - it used to be in the top 5, then the top 10, then the top 15. If Nintendo didn't increase the charts to 30 places, Stardew would have dropped off the charts by now - it's currently sitting at #16. But that's #16 out of all Switch games, whether it's digital exclusive or not. It's been beaten by Minecraft, Spyro, Fire Emblem, Dark Souls and Zelda, but it's beating Xenoblade Chronicles, Animal Crossing, Immortals: Fenyx Rising and Donkey Kong Country Returns. If Stardew Valley has sold so well on the eShop to have never left its charts, how much money do you think it's earned on Switch alone? --- Make it through this year, if it kills you outright. If you liked Harvest Moon back in the day, you'll love Stardew Valley. I'm kind of over it, but I got 150 hours out of it. It's a nice game to just play and let go of everything else - there's no deadlines and no obligations. Just farm, fish, forage and mine. There are goals, but you can achieve them in your own time. --- Make it through this year, if it kills you outright.
