An attempt to discipline a 5-year-old boy went horrifically wrong in Fort Mitchell, Alabama.
According to Sheriff Heath Taylor, 35-year-old Bryan Starr, who's on Active duty at Ft. Benning is charged with reckless murder in the case.
Sheriff Taylor said Starr was driving when he pulled over and told the child to get out of the car for being "unruly."
"It was raining at the time and at it was, obviously at 8 o'clock at night, dark," Taylor said.
Starr reportedly told officials he lost sight of Austin until he saw cars stopped in the road.
Sheriff Taylor said Austin walked onto a busy highway where he was struck by another vehicle and killed.

Its not just dumbfuck parenting. Hes still a cop. This is an example of his judgement being horrible.
