So I have been noticing nats in my room for the last few days, not alot of them, and I just figured they got throught the sliding glass door.

I have a safeway deliver tonight though, so gathered my garbage to bring up the hill, and a paper bag I have by the door to the garage in my room, had a gnat flying over it!!

So, I looking in the paper bag (this was not supposed to be a garbage bag mind you) and saw a bowl that had broken (fallout out of the fridge) with food in it from at least 2 weeks ago!!!). There were gnats all over it.

The bowl broke late at night from the fridge in the garage, and I didn't remember it the next day (just put it in the bag to take up the day after as it was too dark/cold out). I totally and completely forgot about it until today.

Ugh, I hate that. So disguisting. It didn't smell or anything (it was just plain rice if I remember right, with some butter mixed in). The rice was green now after being in there so long though. And well, gnatty.

Can't believe I did that, worse I still see a gnat or two flying around my room, hopefully they will go away soon (ie die) since there is nomore food for them here.

Le Sigh.

Gnats are the worse (along with flies and mosquitos). They sometimes fly in when I open the window. I hate them.

get a jug of water, tea spoon of cider vinegar and 2 drips of washing up liquid that kills them ( theirs other thing that work if you don't have cider vinegar

they can't stand on the water since the washing up liquid disturbs water tension

Plus, this has the added bonus of turning into a delicious protein drink after a couple days

Looks like after getting rid of the bag they are gone, but I also set up 2 fans on high to pretty much blow them away lol.

Still sucked.
